Turn your Windows PC into a signage player.
Connect a PC or mini PC to your TV, pair it with Everuna, and manage its content from your dashboard. Fullscreen playback, display selection, and launch at Windows sign-in are built in.
Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 1809+ with current security updates. For x64 PCs; not a native ARM64 build. Internet required for installation, pairing, and updates. Microsoft WebView2 is installed if missing; no separate .NET installation needed.
Download the SHA-256 checksum to check file integrity. A checksum does not verify the publisher.
Set up your screen
- 01
Install on the screen's PC
Close any existing player with Ctrl + Shift + E, then run the installer under the Windows account that will run your signage. Select Start with Windows if you want it to open at sign-in.
- 02
Open Everuna Player
The player opens fullscreen and displays a pairing code. Leave that code on the screen.
- 03
Connect it from your dashboard
On your phone or another computer, sign in at app.everuna.com, open Screens, select Add Screen, and enter the code currently displayed by the player.
- 04
Assign your content
Name the screen, assign a playlist or content in the dashboard, and leave the player running. Pairing is saved for this Windows account and survives upgrades.
Settings and closing the player
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl + Shift + Q | Open or close Player settings. |
| Five rapid clicks or taps | Open settings by clicking or tapping five times within three seconds. |
| Ctrl + Shift + E | Close the player immediately, even in kiosk mode. No confirmation. |
| Settings → Exit | Choose Exit player to confirm, or Keep playing to cancel. |
| Esc | Dismiss settings or the exit confirmation. |
Kiosk mode and displays
Kiosk mode keeps the player fullscreen and on top. Turn it off for a resizable window. Use Display in settings to select your TV. Alt + F4 is blocked while kiosk mode is on.
Start with Windows
Enable this setting to launch after the current Windows user signs in. It does not sign in to Windows for you or run before sign-in. Windows Startup settings or your organization may disable startup apps.
Reload, re-pair, or restart
Reload player refreshes the web player. Pair to a different screen clears its saved pairing and displays a new code. Restart player app closes and relaunches the application.
Update or uninstall
Close the player and run a newer installer for the same account. There is no automatic app updater. Uninstall from Windows Settings → Apps; choose whether to keep the saved pairing.
For unattended displays
Use a dedicated Windows account, restrict physical access, and keep Windows and Microsoft WebView2 updated. Kiosk mode is a convenience feature, not an access-control boundary: anyone with input access can open settings or close the player. The app requests that Windows stay awake while running. Ask your IT administrator about power recovery and sign-in policies.
If the connection drops, the app retries failed page loads. Offline playback depends on content already cached by the web player. Pairing, settings, and local logs are stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everuna\Player.
Need help?
Pairing code expired
Request a new code on the player and enter that code in Screens → Add Screen.
Paired, but no content plays
Assign a playlist or content to this screen in the dashboard. Check that its schedule is active.
The player does not start at sign-in
Check Start with Windows in Player settings and Windows Settings → Apps → Startup. Your organization may control startup apps.
WebView2 is missing
Run the installer again with an internet connection so it can install Microsoft's browser runtime.
The player loses its connection
Check the PC's network connection. Content updates require internet; offline playback depends on previously cached content.
The app repeatedly crashes
Open Device info in settings for diagnostics. Recent logs are stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everuna\Player\logs\player.log.
