EVERUNA PLAYER FOR WINDOWS - VERSION 1.0.1 REQUIREMENTS Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 1809 or later with current security updates. This download is for x64 PCs and mini PCs. It is not a native ARM64 build. Internet access is required for installation, first pairing, and content updates. Microsoft Edge WebView2 Evergreen Runtime is required; Setup installs it when missing. No separate .NET installation is needed. INSTALL AND CONNECT YOUR SCREEN 1. Download the installer from the official Everuna website. 2. Close any running Everuna Player with Ctrl + Shift + E. 3. Run Setup under the Windows account that will display your signage. Select Start with Windows if you want the player to launch at sign-in. 4. Open Everuna Player. The app displays a pairing code. 5. On another device, sign in at https://app.everuna.com, open Screens, choose Add Screen, and enter the code displayed by the player. 6. Name the screen, assign your content or playlist, and leave the player open. Pairing is saved for this Windows account and survives app upgrades. STAFF CONTROLS Ctrl + Shift + Q: open or close Player settings. Five rapid left-clicks or taps within three seconds: open Player settings. Ctrl + Shift + E: close the player immediately, even in kiosk mode. Settings > Exit: show the confirmation dialog. Keep playing cancels; Exit player closes the application. Esc dismisses settings or the confirmation dialog. PLAYER SETTINGS Reload player: refresh the web player. Pair to a different screen: clear the saved pairing and show a new code. Display: choose the connected monitor or TV. Kiosk mode: fullscreen and always on top when on; a resizable window when off. Start with Windows: launch at sign-in for the current Windows account. Device info: view the app version, network status, and recent diagnostic log. Restart player app: quit and relaunch the player. UNATTENDED PLAYBACK Start with Windows runs after Windows sign-in, not before it. The app does not change Windows sign-in, passwords, BIOS settings, or Windows security settings. Keep the PC powered, connected to the internet, and on the correct TV HDMI input. The app requests that Windows stay awake while it runs. For unattended venues, ask your IT administrator to configure power recovery and a dedicated account. SECURITY AND PRIVACY Kiosk mode prevents casual closure. It is not an access-control boundary: anyone with the keyboard or touchscreen can open settings or close the player. Use physical access controls and a dedicated Windows account. Keep Windows and the WebView2 Evergreen Runtime updated. Do not disable Windows security warnings or antivirus to install the player. Use only the official Everuna download. This release has no automatic app updater; install future releases to update the bundled .NET runtime. The browser runtime updates separately through Microsoft. Pairing, settings, and diagnostic logs are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everuna\Player for the current account. TROUBLESHOOTING Settings do not open: use the current installer, then Ctrl + Shift + Q. Pairing fails: use the code currently displayed; refresh an expired code. No content after pairing: assign content to that screen in the dashboard. Offline: check connectivity. The shell retries failed page loads automatically; cached playback depends on what the web player has already cached. WebView2 missing: allow Setup to install Microsoft's runtime, or install it from https://developer.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/webview2/ and reopen the player. Unexpected crash: the app attempts recovery; repeated startup crashes stop the relaunch loop. Diagnostics: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everuna\Player\logs\player.log. Startup disabled by Windows or your organization: check Windows Settings > Apps > Startup or ask your administrator. The in-app switch manages startup registration. UPDATE OR UNINSTALL Close the player and run the new installer for the same Windows account. Uninstall through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Uninstall asks whether to remove pairing, settings, and logs; silent uninstall preserves this data. SUPPORT https://www.everuna.com/contact
